Obituary of Frances Cook

COOK, Frances Irene - Peacefully at Lookout Ridge Retirement Community, Fonthill, on Tuesday February 25, 2014 at the age 96. She is predeceased by her husband George (1982), sister Jean Mc Cracken (2013) and brother Ralph Richardson (2008). Much loved mother of Don (Sharon) Fonthill and John (Janet) Calgary. Cherished grandmother of Tyler (Jason), Ryan (Emily), Gavin (Nicole), David and Jillian. Great-grandmother to Joss, Rielle and Linden. Frances graduated from the University of Toronto with B.Sc. (1940) and worked at the Household Products Lab in Vineland Station for 17 years until her retirement in 1982. She was an avid skier, golfer and bridge player for much of her life. The family will receive friends at the VINELAND CHAPEL of TALLMAN FUNERAL HOMES, 3277 King Street on Saturday March 1st 2014 at 10 AM with the Funeral Service to follow in the Chapel at 11am. A reception will be held in the Tallman Fireside Room after interment in the Vineland Cemetery. If desired, memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, the Fonthill United Church or charity of your choice would be appreciated.
