My deepest condolences to Winnie's family. I just saw the obit. and had not heard of her passing before now. This explains the returned Christmas cards. Winnie was a singer at St Martins in Smithville when I was organist in the 60's. She could always be counted on to come in for practices. She was a lovely lady. My Mom, Anna(deceased 2016) knew Winnie and Bernard well. My Dad frequented Stad's for building supplies.
I last heard from Winnie when George passed. This is a sad day for me. I will always remember her fondly.

So sorry to read of Win's passing. She was always such a lovely person when she came into CIBC in Beamsville with Stad Lumber deposits many years ago. Deepest sympathy to all her family.

My condolences to Winnie's family. My late husband, Bill, and I go back a long way with George and Winnie at Stad's. Always pleasant and friendly, Winnie could be counted on to know where everything was at Stad's, and to produce it with a smile. Both Winnie and George, old-time, old-fashioned "Beamsvillites" are sadly missed.
