Obituary of Nettye Dyck
Dyck, Nettye - Agnes (Nettye) Alicie Dyck (Wiens) of Campden passed away quietly on April 19, 2014 after a brief stay in hospital. Born February 12, 1926 in Hepburn Sk. Predeceased by husband Abram, parents Nikolai and Anna, by brother Nick, and by daughter-in-law Evy. Survived by siblings Irene, Jake, John, Harry, Anne and Harold and by children Irene (Henry), Marvin (Edith), Arthur (Suzanne), Gerald, Bill (Donna), Larry (Marg), Ruth (Dave). There are 21 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Nettye spent her teen and young adult years in the Leamington area. After marrying Abe in 1951, she spent the remainder of her years on the farm in Campden. Her home church throughout her married years was Vineland M.B. She loved baking, sewing, gardening, hosting, music, and her Lord. We miss her greatly.
Memorial service at Southridge Vineland Church, 3970 Glendale Avenue, 11am on Saturday, April 26. Visitation at Southridge Vineland Church on Friday, April 25 from 2-4 and 7-8:30pm. Out of respect for allergy sufferers, donations to MB Mission and Gideons gratefully accepted in lieu of flowers.
