I'm so sad to hear of Bob's passing. Bobby and I were the very best of friends for so many years. I'm sure his grand children, sons and brothers know what an awesome guy he was...I sure do! W spent many great times together in and around St. catharines and then later in Timmins Boydie and I were the only two crazies riding our snow machines in 30 below weather for hours well past midnight...we fished and rode our dirt bikes like mainics endlessly. Bobby was one of the funiest and smartest guys I knew...he claimed to have a "mind like a steel trap" but I wonder if anyone knows he was afraid of the dark...he would laugh if he knew I told anyone that. I am out of the country until Saturday but I will be sure to be at the Dog Pound Sunday to share some stories of this man who touched my life in so many ways. Condolences to all of his family Bob Widdicombe

I knew Bob as a great friend both on the football field and baseball diamond. He was one mean tough guy on the gridiron and an explosive player in the batter's box. I sat beside him at our 50th C.I. Football reunion and he hadn't lost any of his quick wit. I hope the family will remain proud of such a unique character. Iam deeply saddened by his passing but the memories will remain forever. God bless such a great guy. With my sincere sympathy Dom Senese.
