Our sympathy to all of you at this sad time.Thank you Ken for 'phoning Jean Cameron who passed the news on to us. we knew Joyce had not been well for some time but it is still a shock to hear that an old highschool friend had passed away. I remember her so well. We used to spend lots of our lunch hour time looking around at various stores in downtown Shelburne. We liked to get away and have a nice walk. Whether the weather was pleasant or stormy it didn't seem to matter to us. Jean or others came along as well usually. We skated at the Shelburne Arena and visited each other's homes sometimes. Then Joyce went to university and Jean and I went to Teacher's College. Alll were busy raising our families and attending to the business of everyday life. She was at our home at least once after we were married and we were down at the Peach Farm one time several years ago. Unfortunately due to the distance and the fact that winter is still with us here we will not be able to be with you. Also we , of course are not as young as we were either which makes for serious decisions about "to drive or not to drive." Let us try to believe that Joyce had suffered enough and that it is a blessing for her to leave us now. We will pray for her and for you who are left behind. I'm sure all will miss her. .Joyce was an intelligent lady and a great friend. Sincerely Stella
