Obituary of David Thiessen

THIESSEN, David Frank - Peacefully at his home in St. Catharines on Friday, April 25, 2014, David Thiessen, aged 84 years. Beloved husband of the late Elsie (2002) and dear father of Victor, Randy and Suzanne, Cheryl, and Sandy Koop. Grandpa to Beth, Julia (Corbin), Andrea (Rob), Janelle, Noah, Josh and Zack. Great Grandpa to Brandi, Lincoln and Beckham. Brother of Harry (Pepper), Eugene (Mathilda), Irene (Jake) Klassen, Henry (Leona). Brother in law of Sarah, Hilda, Sally, Jack and Dan. Predeceased by siblings Jake, John, Anne and Sally and by dear friend and brother in law Dave Heidebrecht. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at the GRANTHAM MENNONITE BRETHREN CHURCH, 469 Grantham Ave. St. Catharines on Monday, April 28th from 2-4 and 7-8:30 pm. Memorial Service in the Church on Tuesday, April 29th at 11 am with interment at Victoria Lawn Cemetery prior to the service.
