Obituary of Lawrence Moyer

MOYER, Lawrence - At the United Mennonite Home in Vineland on Friday, May 2, 2014, Lawrence Moyer, aged 86 years. Beloved husband of Myra Schinkel for 62 years. Brother of Dorothy (Les) Winger, both predeceased; Lois (Larry) Beck, both predeceased; Howard (Phyllis); Keith (Elsie); Ella, predeceased, (Gordon) Davy; Eileen (Rudy) Christianson. Father of Mike (Kim); Judy (Lou) Caggiula; Jeff (Kathleen); and David (Cheryl). Grandfather to Courtney, Tim, Jaymie, Christian, Ryan, Daniel, Sabrina, Mackenzie, Ryleigh, Cooper and Charlotte and Great Grandfather to 4. Predeceased by grandson Aaron. Lawrence ended a 40+ year career as President of Commercial Photo Copy and enjoyed at 26-year retirement with many good memories of time spent at his cottage at Spring Lake. He was a lifelong active member of Vineland Pentecostal Church, a member of Grimsby/Lincoln Gideon Camp and the Pennsylvania German Folklore Society. The family will receive friends at the VINELAND CHAPEL of the TALLMAN FUNERAL HOMES, 3277 King St. on Sunday 3-5 and 7-8:30 pm. Funeral Service at the Vineland United Mennonite Church, 3327 Menno St. on Monday, May 5th at 11 am with a reception to follow. Private family interment. If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Gideons or Vineland United Mennonite Home.
