Dear Corrine and Rob: Aunt Vi was a remarkable woman in so many ways throughout all of her long life as wife, mother, friend, and most certainly my beloved aunt (who was like a mother to me on many occasions). Right up until the end she left us with a legacy of almost uncommon courage and tenacity. While most people just fade away, Aunt Vi fought hard to avail herself of every opportunity to remain as long as she could with her family and friends. She was the epitome of, “I’d rather try and fail, than fail to try.’ A true hero! She will be missed and forever remembered. Rest in peace, dear Auntie. Sending our sincerest condolences to Vi's family. I'm sorry I missed her call about 2 months ago. I would have loved to have chatted with her. I called her right back, but for some reason I could never get through at the Orchards. I loved running into your Mom when we lived in Vineland, but after moving here we only saw her a few of times, usually at Charles Dailey Park for the concerts. She ALWAYS had the nicest smile, & was so friendly too. I'm sure you will miss her a lot. Hugs Mike & Kathy Dobrenski.
