Obituary of Florence Hassan

Hassan, Florence Irene (Irene) - At Tabor Manor in St. Catharines on Sunday, May 11th, 2014, age 85 years. Irene was pre-deceased by her parents Florence and James, her loving husband of 50 years, James and her brother Stan and sister Pat. She is survived by her brothers Richard and William, her sons David, Brian and Peter and grandchildren Meghan, James, Connor and Patrick who love her and will miss her dearly. Irene was a caring and supportive mother and wife, and adored and cherished by her sons and grandchildren. Irene was also much loved by her nieces, nephews, friends and relatives and her daughters-in-law, Bonnie and Susan (soon to add Wendy). Our family would like to extend special thanks to the staff of Tabor Manor who provided kind and professional care through the last months and days of her life. The funeral service and interment will be held at Zion-Wexford United Church, 2102 Lawrence Ave E, Toronto, Ontario at 10:00am on May 15th. If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada or a charity of your choice.
