Obituary of David Dick

Dick, David G. - (February 10, 1928 - May 22, 2014) - Peacefully, surrounded by his family at the Niagara-on-the-Lake Hospital, David Dick, aged 86 years, went to be with the Lord and be reunited with his loving wife Ella (November 2013). Dear father of David (Terri), Greg (Linda), Marilyn (Gerry) Redekop, and Jonathon. Opa to David Charles, Patricia (Andrew), Stephen (Louise), John (Evelyn), Jennifer (Gerry), Greg (Rachel), Sherri (Steve), Michael, Rob (Sarah), Kristen (Anton), Melissa, Madeleine, Isabelle and Sophia and 14 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by a son George (1967), sisters Elizabeth and Helen and brother, John. David owned and operated Niagara Motors G.M. Dealership in Virgil since 1961. The family will receive friends at Bethany Mennonite Church, corner of Creek Rd and East-West Line, Niagara-on-the-Lake, on Monday, May 26 from 1 - 3 and 6 - 8pm. Funeral service in the church on Tuesday at 10:30am preceded by interment at Niagara Lakeshore Cemetery. If desired, memorial donations to International Child Care or M E D A would be appreciated. The family wishes to thank Dr. Yelamanchili, Dr. Zuliani, Dr. Casselman, Dr. Bastedo, the staff on 3B at St. Catharines General and Donalda and the nursing staff at Niagara-on-the-Lake Hospital for their outstanding compassion and care.
