Hi Brenda, I was a teacher at First Street with your mom as secretary and your aunt as colleague. It was 1974...I was 23 years old...and thought I knew it all. (Oh - the egocentricity of youth! ) I'm certain you realized you had two amazing mothers who doted on you. I was always so envious because my mom passed away when I was 7 years old and although I was raised by loving grandparents, I would have loved to have a mom like Florence and Alice. I remember how proud Alice was when she took you to Japan - for EXPO I believe. I also remember their loving concern when you went to university in the U.S., met the man of your dreams, married, bought a house and decorated it to the nth degree. You were so talented in many areas - Brenda!

Very fond memories of Alice as well as Florence. Loved Alice dearly. She was such a cheerful, encouraging sister. I know she will sing with the angels thru eternity. Know your hearts will hurt for a long time, but what wonderful memories you all will have!! God will bring you comfort.

Lordie, she had a great life. Miss Conn was a good teacher and has one of those names and reputations that always comes up in remembrance conversations. God rest; thoughts and prayers are with the families.
