Those of us in the farming Community noted Bill's passing with sadness and some of us with surprise. His involvement with Tree Fruit Variety testing and general presence when change was taking place gave us a continuity. He encouraged our curiosity and had a good sense of observation in his work. Diane and family, we certainly will remember him and hope that you can get by this difficult time . Les and Pat High
