Walter was a wonderful mentor. He taught me one week into my Dad’s stay at Albright to say : “Nice to see you” instead of “How are you today?”. His gentle guidance has helped me tremendously and every time I utter the phrase I think and thank him. We have only known Walter since April when Dad moved in next door, but he spent his time guiding my Dad and me. Even in great pain Walter took the time to talk to my Dad and prepared him for his death. I was dreading telling Dad that his friend had died but when he found out Dad preceded to tell me all the things Walter had told him. What a wonderful soul. My family sends prayers, Walter will be missed. God bless.
