Dear David and Joanne and family, Bob and I knew your Mom and Dad through Dominion Douglas and Bloor St. churches. We were very fond of them both and deeply appreciated your Dad's pastoral caring at the time of our daughter's birth . John Nichols was a gentle, caring person well suited to Pastoral care which we experienced at Bllor Street United Church. He and Winnifred walked hand in hand down our shared street - Walmer Rd. and we're delightful company even with young children running about. My condolences on John's death but also thanksgiving for a life well lived.

We were deeply saddened to hear of John's death. We have kept in touch over the years and have had some wonderful visits (and lunches) at Albright, sharing memories and stories, and discussing the latest theological trends! He was a wonderfully gracious and caring man and a fine pastor and colleague. He will certainly be missed. Our heartfelt condolences to the family, Blessings and best wishes, Don and Mimi
