Obituary of John Minnis

MINNIS, John Atlee - Peacefully at home on Sunday, September 7, 2014. Beloved husband and best friend of Martie Hedden. Predeceased by his parents, Atlee and Georgina Minnis, his brother Bill Minnis and John's first wife Muriel Haufschild. Dear father of John Jr. (Linda) of Huntsville, and Susan (Mark) of Enterprise. Grandpa to Katie Minnis of Huntsville. Fondly remembered by Martie's children Brian (Brenda) of Cambridge, Sherry (Gary) of London and their children, Jeff, Mark, Bree and Colt. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at St. David's-Queenston United Church, in St. David's Ontario on Saturday, September 13th, 2014 at 1 pm with a reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations to a charity of choice would be appreciated by the family.
