Obituary of Eleanor Joyce MacGregor (nee Fester)

MacGregor, Eleanor Joyce (nee Fester) - Peacefully at the Extendicare St.Catharines with her loving family by her side on Sunday, October 5, 2014 at the age of 75. Eleanor MacGregor beloved wife and partner of Don for 52 years. Cherished mother of Brenda and Bruce. Proud grandma of Michael and Ryan. Dear sister of Linda Crown (Greg) the late Shirley Boulter (late Albert), the late Patricia Taylor, (the late Bill). Eleanor was dear aunt to Brian, Wayne, Debi (Don), Brad (Lori), Christopher, Michelle (Nicolai). Great aunt to Jerrid, Samantha and Weston. Will also be missed by her brothers-in-laws Neil (Bev deceased), Dale (deceased), Glen (Helen) and their families. Our family would like to give a heartfelt thanks to all the staff at Extendicare St.Catharines, CCAC, Alzheimer Society and Kim Woods. Eleanor was a long serving member of the Ladies Auxiliary BR612 Royal Canadian Legion. Cremation has taken place. Family will receive friends at the Vineland Chapel of Tallman Funeral Homes 3277 King St. Vineland, Friday 7-8:30pm. A Memorial Service will be held in the chapel on Saturday, October 11 at 11am. If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society at alzheimer.ca/niagara.
