Obituary of Mark Diacur

DIACUR, Mark Joseph - Passed away in St. Catharines on Monday, November 24, 2014 aged 63 years. Loving husband of Lori (Cripps) and dear father of Christopher (Jillian) and dear son of Ma (Fran Cripps) and loved dearly by brothers and sisters, Kenny (Maureen) Cripps, Rick (Mary) Cripps, Tim Diacur and Joel (Trudy) Diacur. He will be missed by his many nieces and nephews and great nephews and friends. Predeceased by his parents Joe and Judy Diacur and the Chief (Ernie Cripps). Mark spent 14 years with the R.C.M.P. in British Columbia and Ottawa and he was the youngest ever to be promoted to the rank of Sergeant. He was Vice-President of the W.S.I.B. Safety Association and also taught E.S.L. to foreign students. Many thanks to Dr. Heritz, Dr Leveque and all the staff on 3B at the St. Catharines General Hospital for their care and kindness. The family will receive friends at the VINELAND CHAPEL of the TALLMAN FUNERAL HOMES, 3277 King St. on Thursday from 3 - 5 and 7 - 8:30pm. Funeral Liturgy will be at St. Julia Church, 251 Glenridge Ave, St. Catharines on Friday, November 28, 2014 at 10am. Rite of Committal will be at Vineland Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to Wellspring Niagara or the Walker Family Cancer Centre would be appreciated.
