Obituary of Charles Nunamaker

NUNAMAKER, Charles Russell - After a fall and complications "Chuck" has passed away peacefully at St. Catharines General Hospital on Dec. 20 at the age of 73. He leaves his wife Laura (Ryerson) of 50 years, beloved daughters Shelley (Paul) Yuratovich and Tracey (Uwe) Dau. He is survived by the delights of his life grandsons Ethan and Alex Dau who enjoyed working with grandpa in his shop, taking apart things and testing and trying out his tools. He is also survived by a sister Sandra (late Don) Culp. Russ was born and raised in Jordan Station and stayed in this area all his life working as a motor winder at Cyril B. Smith Electric until his retirement. He loved his vegetable garden, fishing and tinkering in his shop and was an avid Nascar fan traveling to many races over the years. At his request, cremation has taken place and a private wake will be held at a later date. T. T. F. N. "Chuck" Friends wishing to drop by the Nunamaker residence to pay their respects are welcome.
