Jim was a gentleman! For several years he did the class and individual photographs at our (Gainsboro) School. He was always very fair in his dealing and did a good job in his field. He was an interesting conversationalist.

I remember flying with Mr. Williams, he took me for a blast over my parents house in Fenwick when I was young. He was always encouraging me to keep my head up, to be proud and purposeful when I walked. Cheers Mr. Williams. Brian, past KOA employee

Dear Elizabethand family, I share in your sadness for the departing of your husband, father, and great friend of ours. In reading his obituary, I am surprised about all of his experiences and achievements. I was aware of many of them but did not realise the length and breadth of them. He was certainly a determined individual and I always enjoyed his sense of humour. He seemed to always see the glass as half full. I am deeply appreciative of the friendship that you have had with my parents. Your inclusion of our family into your lives has meant a lot to us. Your graciousness and generosity is unparalleled. Mom had described to me the difficulty that Jim had in getting them out to the restaurant on a recent visit. Driving at night in an unfamiliar place was challenging enough for him. I admire the fact that he would drive to Sudbury to pay them a visit knowing that it was unlikely that my parents would be able to come to Beamsville. Perhaps this was his way of saying goodbye to them (face to face) before his time would come. Thanks for the memories. In closing, I would like to express my sincere condolenses to you for your loss. I also wish you good health and happiness in the days ahead. Love from Ernie and Denese.

I will miss my father beyond what can be imagined. He was such a guiding light and mentor for me right from the start and never left me in want of anything. I can only hope to achieve half of what he did in his lifetime. Dad, I will miss you. Lots of Love - Son Don.

Dear Elizabeth and Family: Very sorry to hear about Jim's passing. He and you were always warm hosts as we celebrated many New Year's Eve at your home, in the swimming pool and in the hot tub too. Jim was a very interesting person and had so many different interests in life. We have a great memory of celebrating your 60th Wedding Anniversary last summer. He will be missed by family and his many friends.
