Obituary of (Lorna) Parker

(Lorna) Ruth Parker December 5, 1925 - April 28, 2013. Ruth passed away peacefully on Sunday night. After a lifetime of nursing and nursing adventure which spanned the globe, she retired and enjoyed the ambience of The Wilderness, the long time family home on King St. Predeceased by her parents, Thomas Parker and Mary (Austin) Parker, and her sisters, Isabelle Parker and Fran McKay. Cremation has been arranged, to be followed by a memorial service and burial at the Parker family plot in Thornton Union Cemetery in Cookstown Ontario, details of which will be announced at a later date. In honour of Ruth's interest in historical heritage, a donation to the heritage organization of the donor's choice may be made.
