Your Mom will be greatly missed, by so many. She was a great lady and so talented as well. Her memory will live on through her many quilts. May you all feel God's presence as you mourn her going. We loved her and will miss her.

It must be so wonderful to be safe in the arms of Jesus, to see His face and join her husband she so longed to be with. My prayers go out to all the family and friends that they will find comfort during this time.

Absolutely saddened to read of this passing of this wonderful lady. My wife got to know her through going to Fairview Mall and running into her on occassion. They would have a coffee together and it is though this avenue that my wife learned she was saved through His precious blood. What a thrill it is for us to know that she is at peace and at rest where their is no need for sun for the Son is the brightness of glory. Our deepest sympathies Marilyn and Aldert we love you.

We, the retired nurses from West Lincoln Memorial Hospital commented this morning at our weekly coffee hour that we had not seen Hedy since she moved to her new home. What a shock. I know that she spoke often to us about being ready to met her Saviour. What joy for her but sad for us. May you as her family have the peace that God gives.

It is with great shock and sadness to hear of Aunt Heddy's passing yesterday. My deepest sympathy goes out to my cousins for your loss at this time. Knowing that she has gone to be with Uncle Dave in the presence of Our Lord is of some blessing, but I know it will be hard for you all, none the less! I can't make the visitation or funeral, but wish that you know of my prayers for you all during this difficult time. God Bless, and Rest in Peace Aunt Heddy! XOXOXO!!!

I am so sorry and saddened to hear of the sudden passing of Hedy. She was a wonderful lady with charm and grace. I first met Hedy in JoAnn Fabric in the States and we struck up a conversation about fabric & quilting. She had a quilting frame to sell, gave me her number and within a week I was at her house. SOLD ! But the story doesn't end there, because since she didn't know how to use the frame ( her husband Don had done the quilting and she sewed the quilt tops ) she asked a friend named Effie to come over to show me how to use the frame. My friendship with Effie is the best thing that ever happened to me and I could never repay Hedy for the lasting friendship that she gave to me. When disassembling the quilt frame her son Greg helped and a few tears were shed about the loss of Don. Afterwards I spent a wonderful day with Hedy at Effie's and in the following weeks Hedy asked Effie and I over for tea and some of her wonderful baking. I know my time with Hedy wasn't as much as many people who knew her for years, but I wish I had known her for years. Hedy made a lasting impression on me and it is one that I won't ever forget. She was a special lady who did love her sewing and just as importantly she loved her family. I will have special thoughts of Hedy for a very long time!
