Fondly remembering Joanne during the years I worked for Bethesda at Old Oxford and Crestdale houses. Actually, we go back further than that, as I was a rookie staff on Cedarcrest when Joanne first came to live on Fly Rd. Her smile could light up a room. When she asked "Can I kiss you?" my heart would melt a little each time. It more than made up for the times she threatened to "smack me down" :) She sure was a feisty gal. Much loved by all who knew her. I will miss her terribly. Sincerest condolences to Douglas and the family. It was a pleasure to know you as well. Case conferences and Bethesda family functions were a lot more fun when the Conrad brothers were in attendance. Unfortunately I will be out of town on July 15th, so unable to attend the memorial service. You will be in my thoughts and prayers sweet Joanne.
