Obituary of Robert Gordon Unger

Unger, Robert Gordon - Surrounded by family, at age 90 passed away at Hospice Niagara on April 9, 2018. Beloved husband of Alma of almost 70 years this July of Port Dalhousie, father of Danny (Dorothy) of Cranbrook BC, Brian (Lynn) of St. Catharines and Bobby (Krystal) of Battersea Ont. Proud grandpa of and greatly loved by 6 grandchildren Lydia, Juanita, Jeff, Katelyn, Jacob and Jessica.  Great grandpa of 5.  Survived by sister Louise, Brother-in-law Ervin (Ann) Doell and Sara Doell.  Also survived by many nieces and nephews.  Dad was a retiree of GM after 40 years.  He was a regular attendee at Bethany Community Church.

The family will receive friends at the Vineland Chapel of Tallman Funeral Homes, 3277 King St. on Wednesday, April 11 from 6 – 8 p.m.  A Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Thursday at 1 p.m.  Reception to follow in the Tallman Fireside Room.  Interment at St. Johns Cemetery in Port Dalhousie.  Donations to Hospice Niagara would be appreciated.
