Obituary of Hazel Nagels

NAGELS, Hazel June - Passed away peacefully with her family by her side at West Lincoln Memorial Hospital on Sunday May 26, 2013 at the age of 89. Dear Hazel was predeceased by her loving husband Arthur and is survived by her brother Athol Robertson of Montague, PEI and predeceased by her sister Isabel(Herbert) Meier, brother Russell Robertson and parents Eva May and Charles Francis Robertson. Hazel shared a very close and special bond with Arthur's children Derek(the late Linda) and Valerie. Beloved aunt of Janet (Tim) Casey, David (Theresa) Meier and Ian (Mary) Robertson. Great aunt of Scott (Marcia) Meier, Matthew (Kelsey) Meier and Michael(Naomi) Robertson. Hazel was a "bonus" grandmother and will be missed by all her grandchildren. She was a devoted wife who loved to sew and had a real flare for style. Hazel supported many causes that were important to her. She will be missed by her many friends and family. The family wishes to thank all the caring staff at The United Mennonite Home in Vineland and the special care Hazel received from the nurses, doctors and staff at West Lincoln Memorial Hospital as well as the support given to her family. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday June 4, 2013 at St. John's Anglican Church in Jordan, ON at 11:00am.
