Obituary of William (Bill) Hauser

Hauser, William (Bill) - With family by his side, Bill passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 16, 2016, at Lookout Ridge Retirement Home in Fonthill at the age of 87. Beloved husband of the late Sarah (Cornies 1996), dear father of Susan & Bart, Rob & Deirdre, grandfather to Alex and Sarah. Sadly missed by sister Frieda and the late Henry (2015), brother-in-law to Agnes (and the late Art 2011), Tina (and the late Henry 2013) and the late Bill and Shirley. Fondly remembered by special friend Jean. Bill retired from GM in 1988. Special thank you to the caring & compassionate staff at Lookout Ridge Retirement Home. The family will receive friends at the Vineland Chapel of Tallman Funeral Homes, 3277 King St. Vineland on Monday, January 18 from 7-8:30pm and again on Tuesday from 2-4pm. The funeral service will be held in the chapel on Wednesday, January 20, 2016 at 11:00am. A reception will follow in the Tallman Fireside Room. Interment at Victoria Lawn Cemetery. If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Mennonite Central Committee (mcc.org) or the Alzheimer Society of Niagara (alzheimer.ca/Niagara).
