Obituary of Olive Mary Ledbury

Ledbury, Olive Mary , May 5, 1926 - March 1, 2016. It is with sad hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of our Mother, Olive, after a long battle with dementia. She was a devoted wife and friend to Dad (Walter) for 59 years and never stopped missing him since his passing in 2005. Mom took great pride in her home where family and friends were always welcome guests. She was an avid bridge player and loved to travel until overcome by this debilitating disease. Olive is survived by her daughter Lynda Kramer (Rick) of Grimsby and son Glen (Kathy) of Fort Mill, South Carolina as well as her sister Dorothy Theobald of Mississauga and brother Jim (Elsie) of St. Thomas, Ontario. Loving Nana to grandchildren and great grandchildren David, Paula, Jennifer, Alyssa, Breanne, Isabella and Liam. A special thank you to the staff of Albright Manor in Beamsville for their exceptional care and compassion during Mom's stay there. As per her wishes, cremation has taken place with a private family service to follow. If desired, any donations to the Alzheimer Society or Albright Manor in Olive's name would be greatly appreciated.
