Obituary of Grace (Haynes) Robertson

Grace Jaymes Robertson (Haynes)- was born on Monday February 29 at 2:39pm to parents Amanda and John Robertson at McMaster Children's Hospital in Hamilton. She weighed 444 gms and was a tiny precious angel who arrived 16 weeks ahead of schedule. Grace's family was blessed with almost 4 beautiful days before she went to her heavenly home while in her Mommy's arms at 8am on Friday March 4. Grace fought a valiant battle in her short life and was a tiny but tough little fighter, who made an everlasting impact on everyone around her. Grace experienced holding hands with her mommy and daddy, hugs and kisses from her family and the sound of mommy and daddy's voice telling her how much she was loved and cherished. Grace was greeted in heaven by her namesake Great Great Grandma Grace Haynes, her great grandparents June and Clair Wiley and her Uncle Adam Haynes. We know that they will keep her safe and warm until we all meet again, Grace is mourned on earth by her big sister Kayla, her grandparents Doug & Shelley Haynes and Art and Barb Robertson and great grandparents Don and Charlotte Haynes, her Uncle Trevor Haynes, Uncle Brad Robertson (Tamra), Aunt Tammy Edwards (Kevin) and her cousins Emily, Sammy & Dominic. Amanda and John would like to personally thank our medical team at the NICU at McMaster Hospital, especially Dr Jennifer Twiss and Nurses Alex, KJ and Heather for all of their love, compassion and support during this very tough time, We will be forever grateful. There will be a private family service held on Thursday March 10. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made to the NICU unit at McMaster Childrens Hospital in Grace Haynes (Robertson)'s memory.
