Obituary of Richard Abram Dyck

Dyck, Richard Abram - It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Rick on March 5 in his 70th year at the St. Catharines General Hospital, after a yearlong battle with cancer. Rick retired in 2003, with 37 years at the St. Lawrence Seaway. He followed politics and was an avid Chicago Blackhawks fan. He is predeceased by his parents Jake (2003) and Susan (2010) Dyck. His gentle sprit will be missed by his siblings, Mary Ann (Jake) Janzen, Robert (Lana) Dyck, Rita Dyck (John Bishop), Jenny Dyck and by his nephews and their families. The family will receive friends at TALLMAN FUNERAL HOMES, 3277 King St., Vineland on Tuesday, March 8 from 7 - 8:30 p.m. As per Rick's wishes a private interment will take place. A special thanks to the nurses on the 4th floor. If desired, donations to the Walker Family Cancer Centre would be appreciated.
