As a student of "Mr. Reid" at Lockerby Composite, I send my condolences to the family and wish to convey that the instant memories upon seeing his photo are cherished ones. His interpretations of Shakespeare and other seemingly incomprehensible works brought reason, rationale and meaning to my life. I don't think he ever drew to his impressive background in class; while he did not demand anything from his students, he commanded respect with his wise and gentle nature. I am happy to hear he lived a long and productive life.
