Thinking of your family...
I have such great memories of Corlis and Harold and our cousins. It was always a fun adventure to come and play at the Haynes! Corlis made me call her by her first name and my mom made me call her Mrs Haynes. It always made for an interesting conversation because if my mom was around I would call her Mrs. Haynes in return I got Miss Backus.
Corlis was always kind to us.
Harold always had a smile and a laugh. I can hear his laugh when I think of him. The Haynes boys always were part of our family. Dad had a few stories to tell. The neighbourhood truly was our family.
I wish I could attend the memorial on Saturday. It would be great to see everyone. Childhood memories are so special.
