We will miss Gerry as if we lost a family member. We first met Gerry as a minister when, we feel, that he saved our 2 year old Janet. We played, holidayed and grew up together. The Elliott family became part of our family. We have reams of pictures to keep our good times in our hearts. I was blessed to have had Gerry as a friend, golfing partner and minister.
Rest in peace old friend.

We’ll have lasting memories of Gerry at Camp KeeMoKee and Sauble Beach, and as a golfer, brick layer, and badminton/basketball player. He was a compassionate friend with a wonderful sense of humour. Our thoughts are with Edna and the boys.
Rest In Peace.

Deeply saddened to hear of Reverend Elliot’s passing. He came to mind today as I recalled how happy he was 42 years ago at their wedding ( Gueldemond). Chris G and I were confirmed by him in the 6os and he married both of us( 42&47yrs ago) Words cannot express how deeply influential he was in my life. Surely I am one of many who benefits daily from his legacy and immortality as I quote his simple summaries often.
Have faith- be Christ like- I am lord of the dance
His smile endures in our hearts
