Johanna and Family
So sorry to hear of Gerhard's passing. .
My dad died when I was in my 20's.
Gerhard was my Dad from that day on.
He was a wise, intelligent, loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend.
He was a true gentleman in all respects and anyone that knew him, respected and admired him.
For years he was a successful business man and had the respect and admiration of all his employees which he treated as family.
He loved those family gatherings and at every chance he would haul out the film or movie projector and treat us to an afternoon of memories present and past.
Not a lot of photos of him but many many pictures of all the family members and a lot of the love of his life, Johanna .
I have met a lot of important and smart business people in my career, however Gerhard still takes first place in my opinion.
We enjoyed all our vacations with him and had many many laughs thanks to his great sense of humor .
You will be missed by all however you have left everyone with fond and cherished memories.
You were ready to go to a better place and hope you will rest in peace.
