Obituary of Jeffrey Scott McKinnon

McKinnon, Jeffrey Scott - Born September 12 1959.  Cherished husband and soul mate of Kathryn McKinnon (Gortson) ascended to his Heavenly Home on August 19, 2018. Beloved son of Jean McKinnon, predeceased by his Dad, Ralph (Mac) and treasured brother of Todd and his wife Elaine.  Amazing Dad to Sarah and Andrew Post and Rebecca and Matt Ventresca and loving step-dad to Jenni and Troy MacLean, Marey and Doug Martin, Becki Pauls and Joe, and Bill Franklin and Ashlyn.  Wonderful Gramps (Opa, Grampa) to Holden, Grace, Ella, Cohen, Bentley, Madison, Bradley, Jacob, Marina and Kevin, Tiffany and Tim, Brittny, Darien and Choice. Great Grampa  to Wilby and Finn. Special Uncle to Ryan and Simone McKinnon and Amber McKinnon and her son Nathan. Jeff will be missed by many, including in-laws Kay Gortson, Linda and Peter Wall, Liz and Alf Koop, Bob and Betty Gortson, Fred and Pat Gortson, Margie and Jared Vaillancourt, Jon and Jenny Gortson, Dave and Judy Mullett, Lorrie and Roger Pellissero, Todd Pymont, and many nieces and nephews. 
Jeff will be remembered for his faith, love and enjoyment of life and family. He loved fishing, cycling, hiking, camping, canoeing, skiing, and motorcycling.
Cremation has taken place.  Visitation at the Fireside Room of Tallman Funeral Homes  3275 King Street, Vineland on Thursday August 23 from 6-8 pm.  Service at Harbour Fellowship Church, 51 S Service Rd, in St Catharines Friday, August 24, at 1:00 pm.  In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario would be appreciated.
