I was saddened to read of your moms passing this morning. I worked with Aggie and Shirley at Fiesta Mall for many years. Your mom was proud of all you children and spoke of you often. She was happy to become a grandmother and talked also of those beautiful children who must be well grown by now. I saw Agnes several times after her retirement and made numerous attempts to contact her once she moved to no avail sadly. I hope the fond memories of your mom provide comfort in the upcoming months.

When my mother was born her name was Helen Marie Brown. That name was changed when she was adopted at the age of nine. This fact was a sore point for her throughtout her entire life and I thought she might like her original name acknowledged here.
I knew her as Mom. As I got older, my brothers would razz me and call me "Aggie". I didn't even realize how much I was like her. Now I do and it is uncanny. Must be in the genes. Now, I am honored to be like Mom.
I am so proud that my Mom had such strength. She lost her husband very early and raised the three of us. She worked at the same job successfully from when her youngest was in Kindergarten to when she retired. Mom was supportive to all of us in whatever it was we chose to do. Mom did a good job with us.
Reading was her passion. A book was never far away. We have that in common too. She loved her many cats and dogs that she had over the years. We are all animal lovers.
Now, she is free. Mom is with Dad, her parents and her grandson now. I know she won't mind that I will still talk to her everyday just as I have always done. There are so many very good memories for me. Love Joyce
