Obituary of Helene Hamm

HELENE HAMM - It is with sadness, and yet with great joy, that we announce that Helene Hamm, aged 94, went home to be with her Lord and Saviour, on Saturday, September 1 at the Vineland UM Home. Helene was predeceased by her husband Nikolai Hamm on August 4, 2007.  She loved and was loved by her children Helen and Walter Griebeling, Nick and Dorothy Hamm, Hilde and Peter Wegener and Helga and Owen Juhlke; as well as her grandchildren Jennifer (Scott), Kristina (Darryl), Jeremy (Jess), David (Katherine), Stephen (Marie), Eric (Anna), Jon (Renee), Karl (Cordelia), Sara (Andy), Katie(Eric), Peter (Annie) and her great-grandchildren, Eben, Jared, Raya, William, Ian, Sophia, Nick, John, Victoria, Bella, Christopher, Michael, Emily, Lauren, Marcus, Barnabas, Maximus and Rosie.  The family will receive friends at the VINELAND CHAPEL of the TALLMAN FUNERAL HOMES, 3277 King St. on Friday, Sept. 7, 2 - 4 and 6- 8 p.m. as well as an hour before the funeral.  A celebration of her life will be held at the VINELAND UNITED MENNONITE CHURCH, Menno St., Saturday, September 8th at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow at Vineland Cemetery. If desired memorial donations to Mennonite Central Committee or United Mennonite Home would be appreciated by the family.  A special thank-you to the staff at the UMH, Harbour Lane, for taking such good care of our Mom.
