Was so sad to hear about Fred's passing. I have fond memories of Fred, his wonderful family and the farm. My family,( parents; Chester and Stella Nail) spent many summers working, playing and making life time memories on the farm. I will always remember Fred as a soft spoken, big hearted man who cared dearly for his family and livelihood. Fred always had the biggest and tastiest peaches anywhere!! Thank you Fred and Marilyn for all the wonderful memories you gave me and my family, for generations. I love you all dearly.
God Bless Kevin and Pamela Nail and family

Fred was a very central part of my growing up in a farming family and a small town. He was very active, athletic and a hard smart worker. I remember Fred waterskiing both at Jordan Harbour and at cottage vacations. He took special pride in becoming a very good single skier.
My Dad, Paul, and Fred seemed to have a special bond over the early bbqing of great steaks from Goods. I can smell them sizzling on the old cast iron grill, set on rocks, over the embers. Perhaps it was the beer.
His was a life well lived. Thanks for the memories, Fred, well done.

To my dear friend Marilyn and family,
You're all in my thoughts and though I know it's a difficult time I also know that your memories will bring each of you comfort.
Fred had the warmest of smiles and I always enjoyed being wrapped up in his jokes and laughter. He was a dear friend to my folks and I find comfort in knowing that Dad is giving him grief over beating him to heaven and they're enjoying yet another laugh.
We'll all choose to remember Fred with smiles and laughter because we know that's how he'll be remembering us!
Our deepest sympathies,
Barb and Todd

Much sadness fills my heart hearing of Fred’s passing! So glad I had a visit a couple years ago with Fred and Marilyn at their home in St Catharines. Having worked for Fred and lived with them for a couple summers, he was one of the hardest working men I know and through the sweat there was always a smile and a laugh! Rest peacefully and all my heartfelt condolences to Marilyn, Bubba, Kevin and Darin. Raise a glass to Fred as he would have to any of his friends....Cheers. Dave Shaw
