Our sincere condolences to all of Alex's family. Ed has fond memories of growing up with Alex at Lower Thirty School and through high school at Beamsville High. One of his favourite memories is one day when "Toots" drove his father's car to school in Grade 8. Obviously something you can't do today, but back then driving from the farm on the corner of Lincoln and the South Service Road to the school on Mountainview wasn't quite as shocking. It was a treat for the rest of the boys to see their friend pull into elementary school, proudly driving that 53 Ford. Alex was a good-hearted person and always easy to get along with. We hope his family is comforted by fond memories.
