Our deepest condolences in the loss of your father and grandfather. We have the warmest memories of Fred and Donna in the earlier years with Ontario Hydro and our get togethers as friends.
Please accept our thoughts and prayers as we will remember him as such a friendly soul who was good to all of us.

Our deepest sympathy to Sandra and Ted. We were very surprised to hear of Fred's passing, especially when over one of our discussions he told me that he had played 92 rounds of golf in Florida in 93 days, We will miss those discussions over the backyard fence that we occassionaly had whenever he came to help our neighbor Sandy or bring her, her morning coffee.
We will be unable to attend the service due to prior commitments but our thoughts will be with you Sandy and Ted.

We did not know Fred for a long time, but it was enough to add to the long-standing friends words of tribute and condonence. We are part of the Sarasota Snow-Bird family in which Fred played such a significant role of friendship, hosting events and, showing us the finer points of his golf game - 7 day/week for 18 holes walking! Yes, he did play 92 games in his 92nd year. I always told him I had 17 years of practice and then maybe I would hone my game to make it as good his.
We always enjoyed his quick, dry wit, that half smile, the twinkle in his eye, and his sayings, what we called 'Fredyisms' - one often used was: "That was a good shot Bill, or Craig, or Eric, right up there with mine."
Our thoughts are with Sandy and Ted. Everyone will say that you should feel fortunate that Fred lived so long and so well; but, I know from experience, that when you lose a parent of over 90 years of age, you lose someone who has been part of your lives for so long. In my case it was 60 years. That amount of time makes for an attitude that he/she will always be there. We will shed and tear and smile with you in the days ahead until we can do it together in Florida.
Blessings
bill & Lynda

Sandra, Ted and Family
Sincere condolences on the passing of your Father.
Doc was a dear friend to our Father not only as co worker and lineman at Hydro but the years at hunt camp in MacTier .
I recall talking to Fred at 20 Valley after he returned from wintering in Florida.
I asked how it was and he replied " played 93 rounds a golf in 90 days".
Fred enjoyed life and was a great man!.
Enjoy the memories .

Ted, Sandra and family - I was saddened when Mom called to inform me Fred was in hospital last week, and then today, to say he had passed yesterday.
I have fond memories of Fred (Doc) - his sense of humour, as a Lineman, an outdoorsman (hunter and fisher), and as a friend of my father.
I was privileged to have deer hunted with Fred and others at the Blanchard Camp in MacTier in the mid-1980's. Their group had good times at the hunt camp, ice fishing Lake St. Joseph, and working with Ontario Hydro. The photos that exist say it all.
Donna, Red, Dad and many others will be happy to welcome Fred.
With regrets, I'm unable to attend the service next weekend due to another commitment, but Mom will likely be present.
On behalf of the Brunet family, please accept our deepest sympathies.
Gerald Brunet
