I and my family are so sad to hear of Bill's passing. He was a good and dear friend to my parents, as well as to me and my wife. Bill and Deane were always spoken of lovingly in my home as a boy growing up and I will always remember his kindness and his compassion when my own parents passed. Bill was an elegant gentleman - a true friend and an exemplary individual. I will miss the Paul Newman of Spruce Needles more than words can express. My condolences to his daughters and their families and also to his beloved Deane, whom he adored and cared for constantly.
