Obituary of Irene Helen Penner

Penner, Irene Helen (nee  Harder)

Irene passed away peacefully on the morning of January 1, 2019, at the age of 83.  She leaves behind her loving husband of over 60 years, Elvin, her four children, Ronald, Janet, Stephen, Brian (Patty) and four grandchildren, Tara Lynn, Jennifer, Matthew and Mya.  She will be lovingly remembered by her brother John (Audrey), brother Edward (Alice), nieces and nephews.  Irene was a most loving wife, mother, grandmother, a great cook and super hostess.  Everyone was always welcome.  May she rest in peace.

Visitation will be from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 on Monday January 7, 2019 at the Niagara United Mennonite Church, 1775 Niagara Stone Road, Niagara on the Lake.  Internment will take place at 10:00 am on January 8, 2019.  Extended family and friends are most welcome to attend at Niagara Lakeshore Cemetary.  Memorial service will be at 11:00 am at the church.  Luncheon will be served after the service.
