I don't even know where to begin with my memories of Uncle Jim and Aunt Tina. My childhood was spent sharing popcicles with Uncle Jim and my dog, Blondie (Yes, the 3 of us shared the same one!), hanging out in his shed with the woodstove in the winter, helping raise his chickens and many other things. And then, I got the joy of getting to see my kids do the same thing when we would come up to visit. Seeing them run down the lane to get cookies from Aunt Tina just like we did was the best. They will both be missed and fondly remembered. My thoughts and prayers are with you. -Lizzy

Jim was a good friend to all of the Caribbean Workers and will be sadly missed in Jamaica as well as Canada. Nothing was too much trouble for him, and the men were warmed by his presence in their lives. Our heartfelt sympathy to your family, Ralph and Sheila Laundry

So interesting that I was just thinking of Jim and Tina this morning and then I read of Jim's passing. Having lived in Campden for 18 years and Campden General Store owners for 8 of those we got to know Jim and Tina very well and I worked with Tina for 8 years as well. Wonderful people and our hearts and prayers go out to the family. God bless you.

Growing up next door was a special privilege I didn’t recognized until I had my own boys and wish they had an “Uncle Jim” of their own. I loved running over to see what he was doing – minding the chickens, building something in the shop, puttering in the yard – there was always a story, a kind word, and a knowing wink. Life was lived outside back then, and Uncle Jim was always there.
To his family, and those that considered him family, I am sorry for your loss.

Rob and I have a lot of great memories for our neighbour, Jim ... Uncle Jim to our kids; and actually Uncle Jim to all of Campden! For many years, the first greeting as I walked out to start some gardening would be Uncle Jim calling out, "Hi Neighbour". Countless times, he would invite us in to have coffee at his house. And one day he confided to me that Tina made better coffee than I did, so he wanted to have the coffee party at his house! (I agreed with him!) He liked my baking, so I could bring the treats and Tina would make the coffee. Having good neighbours like Jim and Tina made our community the perfect place for us. Jim and Tina had a good life shared by so many family and friends. They will always be thought of in the kindest light. Rob and I send our sympathies to the family.

We are so sorry to hear about Jim's death. We are thinking of you all as you go through this difficult journey of death.
We remember Jim at Campden Church and he always had candies in his pocket that he would offer you whenever you were in a conversation with him. The kids enjoyed that also. His woodworking skills, the beautiful desk he made for Haley one Christmas. He volunteered on the Board of Community Care of West Niagara and was not just a Board member who sat at the meetings. If there was something to be done he was there to physically help.
He will be missed.

Jim's Family,
So sorry to hear of Jim's passing. He was always available for a helping mechanical hand at the farm. Always smiling, even when greenhorns like me got the station truck stuck in gear and drove back to Vineland from Beamsville in 2nd gear. He just opened the hood and whacked it with a hammer. Good as new! I am sure he was a wonderful story teller.
My best to the family.
