My deepest sympathies go out to Ernie's family. I am so sorry to miss his celebration of life, but I wanted to share what a kind and caring man he was. I taught with Ernie at Thorold High in the late 70's and early 80's in the geography department. He was involved in hiring and mentoring me. I always felt supported and valued as a new teacher. Ernie was a true professional and a great man to work with. God's blessings be with you.

I am saddened to hear this news. Ernie and my father had many a "Great" golf game together over many years . He also did a wonderful job eulogizing Dad at his funeral and I will cherish that memory forever.
Rest Easy Ernie
God Bless

Dear Liz and family,
We are truly sorry for your loss. Ernie was a vibrant member of the "Fab Four" (Rudy, Harold, John and Ernie) and they enjoyed many, many years together socializing and golfing!
John and Elly often shared with us stories of the good times they shared with you, and I, Ted, enjoyed many rounds of golf with Ernie after summer school courses at Brock University.
We are grateful that he is free from his earthly pain and challenges, and is rejoicing with his Saviour.
Love,
Ted and Syl
