Obituary of Brandon Wesley Gretzinger

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Brandon Wesley Gretzinger at the age of 35, on March 7, 2019. Brandon passed peacefully at his home surrounded by his family. Brandon will forever be missed by his spouse Ashley Drysdale, his loving parents Milton and Karen, and his sister Lacey (Sean). He was an amazing loving uncle to Lola, Bishop, Marcus, Orla-Rae and Olivia. He is survived by his grandpa Bernie Cheynowski and great grandma Simone Souter. The family finds comfort knowing that Brandon now rests with his heavenly father and is reunited with his brother Tyler Jaymes Gretzinger, his grandparents Margaret Cheynowski, and Ron and Tina Gretzinger. He will be deeply missed by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and numerous friends.

Brandon was a proud butcher and hunter. He loved hunting trips up north or being in the woods near home looking for a big buck. He enjoyed being in a farmer’s field in a tractor or on a lake fishing with friends. He loved Sunday suppers with the family and spending time with all of his buddies hunting, snowmobiling or just hanging out around a fire. Downtime was usually going for a drive in the evening with the windows rolled down looking out at the woods, fields, and lakes.

Family and friends will be received at the Vineland Chapel of Tallman Funeral Homes at 3277 King St., Vineland on Friday, March 15th, 2019 from 2-4 pm and 6:30-8:30 pm. Interment will take place at 9:30 am at Zion cemetery (Wainfleet) prior to the memorial service at Vineland Missionary Church, 3874 Victoria Ave., Vineland on Saturday March 16th , 2019 at 11:30 am. As per Brandon’s wishes, in lieu of flowers donations to the Sick Kids Foundation would be greatly appreciated at sickkidsfoundation.com
