Ingrid & family,
I’m so sorry for your loss. Horst was a wonderful man. I remember him as always having something funny to say— a joke or a funny story. I watched him as an involved and loving grandfather and could see his love for his family.
I hope your many good memories will bring you comfort.
Love Dawn

One cannot measure the sorrow of losing a husband who was loving, gentle, caring, thoughtful, and softspoken. Our sincere and deepest sympathy to you Ingrid, your children and grandchildren. You and Horst shared many wonderful and happy years, you respected each other and created a happy life for your family. Horst worked hard in Canada and became a master designer and builder We were privileged to see his handiwork in your house as well as his portfolio of designs he created and built.for so many clients. We will miss his presents at the afternoon coffee get togethers when he was able to join the group ladies that you invited. May you find comfort in all the beautiful memories you and Horst had together. Our thoughts and love are with you.

Thank you for the many memorable goose dinners and great hunting memories. We spent many days sharing a drink while packaging our venison over the years. I am proud to say that you were not only my hunting companion but also my friend. Until we hunt again.
My condolences to Ingrid and family.

I had the honour and privilege to work closely with Horst in my early years at Fairview. He was a master of his trades, with an artistic originality that can never be duplicated. Working with him over the years on various projects, I learned much of what I use now in construction. I also took some my favourite moments and memories at work from those same encounters.
