Corona-
My most heartfelt sympathies for your loss. I haven’t seen either of you in a very long time but I have a few memories of fun times spent with you both. Spending lots of time on Skeleton Lake, being pulled behind the speed boat on a piece of plywood yelling “go faster”. Swimming beside the paddle boat feeling like I was swimming the English Channel while crossing to the other side of the waterway from the house. What was the distance? 75 feet perhaps? Sitting on the walkway while dad and Clayton were enjoying a few beverages and watching the “chippies” as they were fed peanuts saturated in unnamed liquids. The constant smiles and jokes and frequent “Muskoka Transport” ball caps we were given. I am very thankful for those memories. I will miss him.

Aunt Corona you know how I feel and I know your pain. At this time it's hard for us to speak and hold back our tears. You know that Joe and I are here for you and love you very much. I'd like to pay tribute to my uncle with these words that follow and I hope they will help to give you peace.
How do you let go of someone you love?
When the time comes, we have to say goodbye to the life we shared with them.
We have to go on with a new life.
That's what our loved one would want.
There's a kind of love that gives you the courage to be better than you are.
A kind of love that gives you strength.
That's the kind of love that my Uncle Clayton gave me.
I'm thankful that God gave him to me and allowed me to have so many years with him.
There are too many wonderful memories to mention.
Thank you Uncle Clayton for the laughter and the love.
I will remember you as long as memory lasts.
I love you, Cath xoxo

Corona we are so sorry to learn of Clayton's passing. He was 'Special' for sure. We remember the dances, parties and community events but most especially the trip to Nashville ( 1979 ) when certain people had to have a new Stetson hat.
We are thinking of you.
