First off my sincerest condolences goes out to Roger's family and extended family.
Roger was definitely an avid outdoorsman's and the only thing he cherished more then being out in the great outdoors was his family as was evident during our prolong conversation during our recent hunting trips over the past few years.
Roger was extremely proud of his children and adorned his wife to no end.
Roger: I would be amiss to say, not only am I, but the rest of your friends & family are going to miss you immensely.
We had some very very good times out hunting over the past several years and it is unfortunate that you had to leave us well before your time.
You were probably the best moose caller I have ever heard, to watch and see you call a 1800lb bull moose in from 200 yds to 10 yrs was incredible, and very scary at 10 yards but incredible none the less, you not only did this once but you did it religiously during our trips. A talent which will be surly missed.
We had a lot of laughs, we sipped a little Cariboo, we drank a little beer and told a lot of stories.
It was amazing to see how a little man with short legs could travel in the bush without getting hung up.
You taught us a lot about hunting and you had our respect, it is unfortunate we could not help you in the end.
Originally I (we) were mad at you, but only because I (we) love and respected you.
Mental illness took you away from us and we need to get a cure and we need to make it socially acceptable to talk about it. We need to swallow or pride and reach out.
I am so sorry that we did not see the signs which led to this day.
In closing to Roger's family please accept my sincerest condolences on Rogers passing.
Brian.

Roger was an inspiration to many of us who had the pleasure of working with him at Collins/UTC, he was extremely dedicated to work, and was a great mentor who willingly and unselfishly shared his knowledge and expertise with his colleagues.
He also had a great sense of humor, we had some great laughs the last two years when our work responsibilities crossed path, numerous times Roger without hesitation helped me even afterhours to clear up paperwork required to support critical shipments.
Please accept my deepest sympathy and condolences, I am glad to have known him for the past two years, and will miss him dearly....

I was deeply saddened to learn of Roger’s sudden passing. I worked with Roger at Goodrich/UTAS from 2004 to 2015. He always had a friendly comment to bring a smile to my face. I will remember his sense of humour, quick wit, attention to detail, and deep pride and commitment to his work. A bien tôt Roger!

Our deepest condolences go out to you all for the sudden loss of Roger.
He was a very passionate man with everything he did and I always admired his love of the great outdoors and his family of whom he always spoke of during our hunting and fishing adventures. Rest in Peace Roger, you are truly missed but not forgotten
