My deepest condolences to the family. On a personal note, I have known Fred for over 47 years. We shared the love for old bottles and their history. Fred has forgotten more than the entire bottle community knows. And he shared his knowledge with whomever asked. He stayed with me for a week in 1981 in Parry Sound and we dug the old Parry Sound dump. And HE was the one who found the best bottles!! He was a gentleman and a true friend. With Fred's loss, the world is a poorer place today. All I have is words and I again offer my most sincere sympathies.
