I loved when Thelma and Ed were able to participate in SNLM mission events - giving us a chance to see and catch up with them. I attended Ed's funeral - but not aware of Thelma's passing until recently, and sending my condolences, love and prayers to the family. With warm regards, Martha & Don Beroud

My condolences to your family, Sylvia, Rodney and Wes, on the passing of your mom. Seems like just a few years back that she was so kind and sweet towards me at your place as a school-days friend. Time has flown through the years since then but memories remain of her always being a sweet mom who made your friends feel welcome in your home.

My Aunt Thelma was a very special lady. Besides organizing wonderful Christmas celebrations for us from Ohio, she found beds for us, and treated us to wonderful treats as we sat around her kitchen table. Her singing voice was beautiful and full of emotion, hope and the message of her song. I am lucky to have been her niece and, even though I haven't seen her in some time, I will miss her presence. Love, Natalie

My condolences on the passing of your Mom and Grandma. My recollections of Thelma begin when I was a young girl looking up to her as one of the beautiful Penner girl cousins.I remember her wedding when she and Ed were holding onto the Vineland Dept.Fire Truck as they were driven down Victoria Ave for all to see! They were a handsome couple for sure! I recall the many times she sang solos for the church choir-a mellow, lovely voice that was always a pleasure to listen to.Thelma had a gentle, kind demeanor and was a beautiful lady. Treasure your wonderful memories of her!
