To Hazel, your children and all of Claude's brothers and sisters and their families. Sorry to hear of your loss. However, I know it was a great home going for him. I remember Claude and so many of his brothers and sisters when we were in high school and Mrs. West had me in for supper on Friday nights so I could attend CAs. I am remembering you in thought and prayer. May God bless you all.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you during your time of bereavement.
What a ‘blessed hope’ we have and it’s all because of God’s amazing grace! Being part of the student life at EPBC, where we got to know both you and Claude.
Another preacher of the Gospel has gone Home, but his ministry will continue in his Children, Grand-children and those he had the privilege of minister to.
Blessing and prayers

Even though is has been about 20 years since Claude has been our pastor he was still our "Pastor". There has been no other leader in our lives that made such an impression. He was always slow to speak and wise. He often spoke that wisdom into our lives and helped to keep us grounded in our faith in Christ. The church we were a part of in Acton was a family and still remains so. We are grateful for the years we shared with Pastor Claude and look forward to seeing him again in his new home.

Roy and I have been blessed and privilege to have known Pastor West and Hazel for about 47 years. Our friendship started before Claude and Hazel were married. We would be driving to church in Downsview, Ontario and would see then walking, because at that time they didn’t have a car. We decided to stop and offer them a ride one Sunday, thus the beginning of a long Christian friendship started.
We cherish fond memories of him today and believe God places people in our lives at just the right time. For us, Pastor Claude and Hazel were those people.
Roy and I were overjoyed and honored when they asked us to be in their wedding party. For those who knew Claude always appreciated his sense of humor. On occasion, over the years when we met up, he would often joke and say I don’t know why we had such old folks in our wedding party. He made us all laugh and sure knew how to make us all feel good.
Claude was very faithful to God and the churches that God led him to minister in. You will always be in our hearts, sadly missed but not forgotten.

Shocked and with mixed feelings to hear that Claude has been promoted and changed his address!!!
Wow! Although many years have passed, what fun and fond memories we have of our time together in Ontario and the visits home to NL.
A lot of time has passed since we were young adults, newlyweds and young parents; now older, hopefully wiser Nanas And Poppies!!!
God has been faithful and Claude has gone before us but we have a great Hope!!! Resurrection morning awaits!! That hope will strengthen you in the days ahead!!!
