I'm so grateful that Stella came into my life 20 years ago. She had posted a little sign on the roadside stating "Apples for Sale". What at first became a business relationship quickly became a lasting friendship. She was strong (in body and opinion), hard-working, generous, smart and she was my friend.
Thank you, Stella, for the dainty bouquets of Lily of the Valley given for my little girls, for teaching me how to pull and trim rhubarb, for offering me many cups of tea and for sharing stories of your life. I will miss you dearly, Stella.
Dear Jurgen, Stephanie, David, Matthew, and Kendra,
